Cool Verry Berry Honey Facts

  • Our products are 100% natural and contain no artificial additives.
  • Due to the high level of fructose, honey is 25% sweeter than table sugar, and several times healthier.
  • Honey contains vitamins and antioxidants, but is fat, cholesterol, and sodium free.
  • Creamed honey is a finely crystilized honey that occurs naturally under rare circumstances. It is known for its smooth "melt-on-your-tounge" texture. Since it is already crystallized, creamed honey is highly resistant to hardening or sugaring.
  • Modern science now acknowledges honey as an anti-microbial agent, which means it deters the growth of certain types of bacteria, yeast and molds.  It never spoils.
  • Verry Berry Honey does not have an expiry date due to the fact that we do not alter the natural moisture content of our honey, throughout our production process.  It is then creamed to maintain a smooth consistency.
  • Due to the natural nature of honey, there may be some crystallization over time, however this is easily remedied by simply liquifying our honey in hot water.
  • Microwave ovens work by heating water molecules; as such microwaving honey can actually destroy it by causing its water molecules to boil and evaporate. While this process may seem to work for a while, the high heat and water loss will eventually cause the honey to harden. When melting honey, always use hot water, or a conventional oven heated to 120F or less.
